lexus afm, RC 550cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and a tuning computer of your choice along with an aeromitve fuel pressure regulator and some sort of wideband.

Turbo I would suggest a CT26 57 trim upgrade

I would not recomend "shimming" the wastegate. If your planning on getting 400 horse then you won't be doing this with the stock (un-rebuilt) turbo anyway. And you'll definatly need a metal head gasket of some sort because the stocker will blow!

yea definitly get the metal head gasket the mkiii is natorious for blowing them. and all of the upgrades they have mentioned i would get along with a tb(turbo-back) exhaust. when i went to hot import nights i talked to a guy who claimed to have the record the the 57 trim. 520hp 537tq. sooooo if your looking for 400+ these upgrades will definitly get u their. their are more upgrades that will make your car more reliable also.

^ I find that ridiculously difficult to believe. a 57 trim CT just won't flow those numbers without grenading itself... 57 trims top out around 400ish HP.

Even if he did make that much power, it was stupid to do so, as the intake temperatures had to be sky high.

I'm planning on reaching 400+RWHP and this is my recipe. May be a bit of overkill but definately shouldn't leave any faults or issues:

Engine:
Felpro HG kit With 1.4 MHG
ARP undercut Studs
JE .020 Pistons with rings
Clevite77 Bearings
Eagle H Beam Rods
Oil filter relocation kit
Oil catch can
APEXi SAFCII
getting engine balanced and blueprinted as well

Turbo - IC - Exhaust:
K&N FIPK
3" turbo elbow
Lexus V8 AFM
HKS SSQ BOV
Sparco replica FMIC
HKS Type1 TT
Greddy ProfecB Spec2 BC
60-1 upgrade (t4 ptrim internals in CT26 Shell)
3" DP (hoping for custom make to replace elbow and 2nd cat if possible)
HKS Sport Turbo catback

Fuel:
550 inj. RC
Walbro 255/hr FP
FPR

Drivetrain:
sgt3 clutch kit (520ft/lb) street version
lightweight flywheel (11lbs)

Of course I'm also going with Wideband 02. Boost, AFR, EGT gauges.

Tires on the car are brand new 245-45-17ZR BF Goodrich G Force T/A's all the way around.

I'm also debating doing valvework if time permits and stg 2 cams from this site I found. So far I see this being a reliable 400RWHP setup. and again yes I know it might be overkill in some areas but the engine has 245K on it and I want it done right.

The list grows and shortens as I find out mroe about my car from day to day and it's condition. That's roughly my baseline for 400RWHP reliably.

BTW I'm also in the military and currently deployed. Kind of getting myself a welcome home gift so to speak. Smile

04 Caddy - Daily
89T - Parts on the way
02 ZX12-R - Sold to support Supra habit
