Hey the guy that is going to replace my speedo cluster said he found one a few hours away from here. He asked me what model type my car is? He said he knows its a supra but if its like a SE or so on how the hell am i supposed to know i don't have an owners manual

There is no such thing. The later model did an SE for a while. I guess they felt like having the Camry rub off on it. I think the SE was lighter than the standard model. Much like the old Mustang LX. 1991 Supra Turbo A340E Sport Roof equiped |

Ya thats what i was thinking but he said the guy he had to call for the speedo said theres three models. The SE, turbo, non turbo base, I don't know it confused me.

There are different clusters for different vehicle combinations. Differences are due to various options and year. Pre89 and 89 and after had different faces from each other. TEMS equipped MKIII's have a TEMS display. N/A has a voltage indicator in place of the boost gauge in the turbo models. Canadian MKIII's do not have the Security indicator
So the first question is: Are you replacing the whole cluster? If you're just replacing the speedo, any MKIII speedo will work.... but you may want to make sure the face matches. And as everyone's said, there was no SE model... not in North America or Japan at least. _____________________________________________ Young enough to know everything, old enough to be wrong about all of it.
