Hi all~
Ok today i went up to some mountain nearby my house to catch some city view. I parked my 1989 supra on a slope that is about 25 degress, pretty steep i would say, and i start noticing coolant coming out from a rusted hole in the exhaust pipe near the muffler after i shut my car off. The lost coolant wasnt that much at all, about i would say 15 drops. The reason i noticed was because the coolant was producing sizzling sound, probably from the hot exhaust pipe. Now there was no overheating, and no lost of coolant in my daily driving at all. Also, i have never noticed coolant leak from overflow bottle or the exhaust hole in the city, where the land is flat. However i do notice coolant leak every time i drive up the mountain and park the car there (where engine gets hotter with higher rev and there's always slope where i park).
Now could this be a blown headgasket sign, where coolant came out into the exhaust system?or my exhuast manifold wasnt bolt tight and some coolant managed to escape?or there is simply just some pin hole leak in my coolant system that only leaks when the car is parked on a slope?
THANK YOU ALL I AM REALLY WORRIED @@~

Is that coolant or just water? H2O is one of the main products of the chemical reaction that occurs inside your engine. Some condensation dripping out of the exhaust isn't abnormal.

Are you having to refill the coolant at all?

Hi chevyeater,
thanks for your reply. I am very sure it is coolant coz it appears greenish after it dried.I almost thought i could smell the burnt coolant smell.
Now i used to fill up the overflow bottle but after some time it decreases to a point that it wont decrease anymore, around 20% of the bottle. If i add more it dropped down to 20% again the next few days. However i never need to refill the radiator and the overflow bottle never runs dry. This is very strange to me coz where could the extra coolant ran to? and if there's a leak i should have gotten overheating already but nothing like that for one year.
I totally have no idea what is happening.....><

Has anyone ever had an issue with the ct-26 leaking coolent thru a crack in the rear of the water jacket that would cause a leak to run out the turbo outlet into the exhaust?
