The FAQ is great, but could do with some more info on the MkIII. There is the FAQ at suprastore with 15 stats, and it is the most comprehensive list one the net I've seen.

this may be a dumb question, and i may have looked over the answer somewhere, but are the 86-92 turbo supras twin turbo or single turbo?

Single turbo in the U.S. In Japan they also had a twin turbo version (the 1JZ-GTE engine) for a few years.
