hey i want to disable the stock car alarm on my car so it wont go off at the worst of times. then i have to lock and unlock my door twice to get my car started.

I tried this, and pulled the theft deterrent computer, and grounded that wire. and the car will not start at all now. i've checked the ground, cleaned it good. any other suggestions? also with the door open the guages still flash, and the fan under the hood goes, and the red light blinks as if the anti theft thing is STILL there. whats going on?

Either 1) You didn't do it right, or 2) You have other problems. (IE: aftermarket alarm installed in conjunction with the factory TDS)

my dad tryed everything to shut off the alarm this guide was a great help car is up and running now
