I want to mount a dual gauge pod on the A Pillar. Does this trim piece come off of the car? The reason I ask is because I need to drill a hole in in for the wires and vacuum hose to go through.

The handle that is on the pillar has two screws holding it on. Find the plastic covers and remove them to locate the screws. From there the pillar will pull out. I bought a triple guage pod from suprastore.com...it replaced the factory pillar . I check the website and it looks like they no longer stock it.

The pillar pod you're likely looking for is made by Lotek.

I think he already has a pillar pod, a universal one most likely. Your just wanting to remove the factory unit and attach your aftermarket pod. The Lotek one looks cleaner since it is a replacement.

The covers that hide the screws? Use something pointy like a knife or screw driver and pop them off.
