ok first off i know many a time this subject has been brought up but i realy do need sum info. i have a tt supra running on true twin...i had the turbos rebuilt sumtime back due to a smoking situation....say about 45000 miles later...car started smoking again...figured it was turbos had my mechanic chk it ...found out it was valve stem seals...no prob...got it fixed...bout 3 months later....very small faint of smoke would puff from exhaust..especially in between shifts..thought nothing of it. i decided to replace my spark plugs and notice oil around the thread from my #1 and 2 plugs, figured it was the valve gasket since wrk was recently done involving removal of valve covers...sure enough..all the bolts were loose and went ahead and tightened them down. Smoke kinda went away for a bit but noticed smoke again after downshifting and coming to a stop..then whatever oil that wasnt burnt would burn off and smoke would go away....but started to get worse...especially taking off from a dead stop and upshifting gradually..no hard runs or starts. big puff of smoke from between shifts then of course complete stops and idling....figured it was maybe bad seals on turbos...ok ..removed i/c piping and chked...no oil at all...opening at manifold was dry too....could it be a possiblity the seals from the valve stems werent seated right?...oh by the way...the smoking does go away from inbetween shifts ones i run the car hard past 4000 rpms....then no smoke shifting...anything lower and gradual speeds....there is smoke at shifts.....any input would help...thnx
