Hey guys,
I just recently reset my ECU (by pulling the green 30 EFI fuse), and upon restarting, the car would start up, struggle for power, then die. It does this 3 times, after which on the 4th restart, the car manages to 'stay alive' and work its way up to a really low idle (400rpms).

After searching back and reading a few other posts, i don't think this is meant to happen. So i'm just curious if anyone has any idea what's going on, or if anyone has had this problem before.

Just to add, is this the way to reset your ECU?
1. start car up and let it warm till normal operating temp, then switch car off
2. start car up again, and now remove EFI fuse
(at this point is the car meant to shut off?)
3. let car sit for a while, then put fuse back in
4. start car up again and off u go (unfortunately for me, i have problems at step 4)

Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice you may have. I have a 96 NA Auto Supra if that helps in any way.

Not sure you're supposed to do that while the car is running... anyway, don't think you did anything permanent if everything's ok now. Just drive it around a bit and it should be fine.
