I have a 87 supra none turbo, I love her but she can be a real bitch some times... I think her and my X's have been talking. lol Anyway, she's losing about a liter of water a day and only being driven REAL short distances and of course over heating. BUT, nothing is leaking?!?! I've replaced things that needed to be replaced anyway like the thermostat, radiator(was leaking a little) and water pump. I think it might be the head gasget although it's not mixing with the oil... yet Any help or ideas will be greatly appriciated! Thank you!

Your post says it all, I the head gasket can leak without effecting the water, as the over heating that is a given, happy wrenching... |

yea id say a head gasket. just because that its not mixing with the oil doesnt mean it isnt leaking. if theres white smoke comming out from your tail pipe thats a given. id just pop the head off and replace it. should only take a couple hours.

Shouldn't you take out the bottom block as well for resurfaceing and a metal head gasket.

spend 30 bucks get a compression tester and see what it says its a cheap way to see if its the true problem. Or else you will feel dumb when you rip it apart and it was something else.
