Ok here's the situation:

Car: 1993.5 Supra NA 5-speed. Stock besides intake and subs and stereo

Problem: Car will turn over, start for a second and die. There is no throttle response whatsoever. It will turn over every time too, just will not idle for more than a half a second. I changed the plugs today, big pita lol...especially in a pep boys parking lot (where it got stuck) and still the same. I checked for codes, and it threw a 14, which I believe is the igniter or ignition signal code. Anyone else have this problem and this solution? ? Thanks a lot in advance

first off check all the wiring from the ecu to the ignitor, if it all checks out then the ignitor is the most likely culprit.

thanks, how exactly would you suggest going about checking all of the wiring? multimeter? ... not sure exactly what contact points to use. Thanks again for the help

ill be the first to admit that electronics are not my specialty but just check the harnesses and make sure all the wiring is hooked up. i wish i still had that zip file with the FSM. ill try to find it and see what it says.
