Just looking for some help,i am about to purchase us-spec turbos for my j-spec,i need to know a few things.
1:will they bolt staight on?
2:I am guessing this will requir me to change the injectors to us-spec will the jap computer run these injectors?
3:If i change the computer to US will it plug straight in without any mods to the harnes and will it run properly with the jap cams?

the us-spec supra is rated at 320bhp.
the jap-spec is rated at 280bhp.
i don't know why or how you've come to think of switching the turbos and the computer but with all the money you'd probably spend switching the turbos and/or the computer, you could have spent the same amount on something else, i.e. new intake, higher flowing exhaust/downpipe and gain considerably more power than switching the turbos - it's just simply not worth the money.

that's my two cents on your idea.

You might be able to pick up a set of US spec twins from someone who is upgrading their turbo - I am not sure if the manifolds are the same and if it is a bolt-on affair or not. You can get a US Spec ECU from someone who has replaced their ECU with an AEM unit.
Remember that you are going to need other things for the "swap" such as 550cc low impedance injectors and US cams. It probably isn't worth the money - just get regular upgrades from Japan. It shouldn't be too tough, since you are in Australia. I figure you get more JSpec stuff than people in the US could ever dream of.
