I am planning to go single turbo in the next week or so, but want a little information on 2 kits? First one would be greddy T78 and the other would be the sp78, which one is better for 600-700hp range and quick spool? Also what do I need to do for the MAF to get rid of it? Will AEM EMS do or what do I use on the single upgrades. Need to know everything that I need for this 700hp project thanks everybody.

the greddy for the spool. the sp78 is a gynormous turbo. with the maf a vpc or MAP ecu will remove it w/o having to convert over to a standalone which will give you nothing but problems. you will also need to upgrade your fuel and ignition systems. if you have an automatic that will have to be upgraded as well. it is also in your best interest to upgrade your cooling system.

Where do I get the VPC and how much? What about the Map ecu, where and how? Has anyone used the veilside intake manifold I am planning to buy that also

vpc is discontinued and can only be bought used when you get the vpc you will/should get another piggy back to fine tune (ie, safc, emanage). the map ecu is made by powerhouse racing and can be bought directly from them or another company like SS, M V P, or HPF. a bench test was done on the veilside to compare to the Virtual Works manifold and the VW beat the veilside. not that the VS is a bad mani but just so you know the VW is proven to be a little better.

When I do the turbo upgrade what happens to the vsv valves and all that funny stuff? Also does the preasure tank play a roll in the single turbo setup or is it useless?
