Hi

I'm planning to buy a toyota supra. I live in the netherlands. The easiest/cheapest way to get a toyota supra in the netherlands is to import one from japan. In the future I want to modify this car. The most tuning parts for the supra come from the U.S. My question is if I buy a Japanese Toyota Supra RZ can I install the U.S. tuning parts? Or are there differences in the engines wich make it imposseble to use U.S. tuning parts on a Japanse Supra RZ?

I hope you can help me!

Thanks, Rob

Most parts are the same, the only time you'll have problems is if getting something like an intake manifold from the USA, you will need custom throttle cable.

Differences between the actual engines is US have steel turbo's, slightly bigger low impedence injectors, bigger exhaust cam and a different traction control system. None of these should be a problem with a RHD JDM car.

If in doubt and ordering parts from a supplier such as Titan or *** you could always ask them if the part will be fine for a JDM Supra and I'm sure they'll help you out.

There are also a LOT of parts available from Japan, try www.greenline.jp .

Dan.
