Hey, what exactly is done to the stock twin turbos when they are sent in for a rebuild? and would it be a good idea to have this done when a 40k+ supra is bought to bring back its original running order?

40k miles? The stock turbo life in general is much longer then this, and you shouldn't need to rebuild them. Save the money until you hear the death whine.
