Hi I'm new to supras (but not toyota) I currently own a 1990 Celica all trac. I'm looking to do some internal upgrades to my motor so that I can get around 400hp/torque. I have heard from others that the 2jz pistons are forged... is that true? It is also being whispered around the all trac boards that the 2jz pistions are a direct replacment in the 3s-gte. No when I went to a shop they quickly dismissed this in an attemt to get me to buy some aftermarket ones and spend more money (go figure, like they'd do anything else). I was just wondering if you guys could shed a little light on the subject for me.

Thanks.
