The K & N extreme filter @ *** motorsports...will this fit onto the stock intake in replacement of the factory airbox?

yeah if its k&n and it was made for you car it should bolt right in becaue its k&n i like the apex my self because it provide the most hp and it cleans the air the most and keeps that crap out of your engine they did a write up on it here go to www.mkiv.com and go to tech articles and go down to the bpu thing and click on the number 2 on the cone filter test results

Thanks, I'll check it out. Does any one out there have an aftermarket cone filter hooked directly to the stock intake?
