Hey Everyone,
I have an issue going on right now with my 94 TT. I had the brake lamp failure light come on about two weeks ago. I checked all the bulbs but everything was in order. I referenced mkiv.com and read about the Lamp Failure Sensor. I ordered a new sensor from Toyota and installed it. The indicator light in the dash went out for about three days. Then it came back on while I was on the interstate and comes on every now and then. I noticed that the dash indicator light will come on sometimes while driving and stay on until the ignition is turned off. Once the ignition is off it seems that it resets and everything is fine until the indication light comes on again. I though I didn't clip the wiring harness totalling into the sensor so I re-installed but the indicator keeps coming on every now and then. I am going to go through the fuses as first line of defense but anyone have any ideas as to a fix? I have good bulbs and a new brake lamp failure sensor. 94TT 89 Stang Mechanical Engineer |
