i have seen this mentioned before, and i searched the forum, but i haven't yet seen an answer to the question. when i had the TTs, my hks ssqv had that nice, high squeal. when i put on the intercooler and switched to a single turbo, the squeal went away and i get the flutter sound. it sounds like compressor surge to me as it is the same sound as before the valve got put back on after the turbo upgrade.

does anyone have an idea whats up with this? i put the bov back in the same spot, with the same hose routing. the only difference is the turbo and intercooler. is the valve going bad? not big enough for the turbo? need an adjustment?

will hks take this back and check it/set it for me back to spec? i have had a terrible time getting someone to talk to at hks, so i really dont know what they'll do.
