is this a hard and expensive swap? i want to eventually do this but i dont know where to start. i'm a noob at this so any suggestions would help. thanks in advanced!

a 2jz swap is very expensive its about 5 to ive seen sum go up to 10g's if u want the twin turbo setup id go 1jz all the way it'll fit right in no problem on the other hand a 2jz would need ur motor mount repositioned a new wiring harness a new diff long story short a 2jz swap will run u up bigg buck a 1jz motor is fairly cheap also a twin turbo and will fit just right i went 1jz have no problems with it in my opinion i like it more than a 2jz hope this helped u sorry for it being so long lol bye...

I know that I myself am in the middle of a 2JZ-GTE swap on my 97 NA and already have over $10K invested but that of course is a fully built motor and full race mani etc. as always it just depends on how far you want to go with it bro!!! Shawn Josef from Titan has a 2JZ MKIII he is the only one I know that has done the full swap with six speed getrag.
