I test drove a TT automatic recently. In the middle of the instrument panel the triangle "!" light was constantly lit red. What does this mean? Is it a problem with the car?

The problem could just be a simple bulb burnt, how did it run and what year how many miles and what were they asking, tell us a little about your ride!

It was a 94 with a little over 90K miles. It seemed to drive nice and smooth and from what I remember the light was constantly lit. What else could the light mean?

You may not have gotten your door shut all the way. That will trip it too.

was it modded if it has a aftermarket down pipe that can make it to go on!

mine comes on too. not on all the time but i heard that if you converted your tail light to the 98s that will trigger it off because of the different brake wiring or wattage that the 93 to 97 has compaired to the 98s.

Mine comes on too but I thought it was because of the modifications I put on it. I have cams, intercooler,and BPU. Should the light not be on?
