i know an LSD is real important when it comes to drifting/autocrossing and i'm pretty sure my mkIII doesn't have one. does anyone know of any good LSDs and the price and how hard it is to install? thanks

Not sure whether your exhaust will be in the way, but the diff is held in place by nuts and bolts (4 bolts connecting it to the driveshaft, maybe 12 holding the axles on, and probably a couple of larger bolts holding the diff to the body). Its not a hard job. If you have a turbo, you do have an lsd. if you have an NA, you only have an lsd if your car has the "sport package" (tems abs etc)

so i have TEMS on my 89 NA supra, but my brakes lock sometimes (maybe i don't have ABS or my ABS is messed up). when i try to drift or burn out only my right tire spins. how would i know if i have a sport package? do i have it just kuz of my TEM? and how would i go about weld locking my lsd?

you dont go about weld locking a LSD. the only differential you would weld lock is an open diff. the reason for that is cause an open diff will send your power to the tire with the least resistance. hence why you get one tire burnouts. if you have an lsd in your supra, you dont need to weld it cause will already deliver power to both wheels when one starts to slip.
