What type of racing do you all like to do and why, what car?

87 supra turbo
drifting do to the chalange and unity of driver and car. there is no feeling like controling your car through a slide yourcar reacting to you every input of steering gas and brake threre is nothing like and no comparison to the control and skill it takes.

At the moment I'm a grip driver. I want to try drifting, but don't have a car that would be good for it. A jeep wrangler would be suicide in anything but snow. I've drifted it a little in snow and on ice (not on purpose though). I loved doing it in the snow and I wish it would snow more.

But what type of racing. Anything with turns is great. At least that's how I get my kicks anyway and that's with the above mentioned Jeep. I've pretty much perfected the theory of grip driving, you have to do the weight shift perfect or I'd flip the POS.

If I were to choose a car it would probably be a supra MKIII Turbo. The car is relatively cheap and so are the parts. And while it's not the most powerful or the best handling or the best at drifting or braking, it's not really bad at any of it. In fact most would consider it good at those things. It's seems really well balanced, like the jack-of-all-trades of cars. And you can get mods to make it better at whatever you want it be.

Back, I've got a turbo and I'm not afraid to use it.

I'm a circuit guy while the Auto-cross's and drifting are good I like the idea of time attack where you are always trying to better your self and try and find more performance out of your car..........

A grip driver is what you call yourself, eh? You must be driving slowly...haha. Unless you're driving a race car...you're most certainly going to lose grip in a corner, even if you take the fastest line...I just thought it was funny. No offense.

I am looking for an mk3 hardtop turbo 5-spd. Someone help me out here, someone has to have one laying around...sheesh.

Closed road courses seem to be the favorite with my 87 Hardtop. Its also fun for the occasional off roading. Im still looking forward to trying it on a track (I live about 40 minutes from infineon Smile)

Road Racing, Trying to get down with scca. Autocross is cool, but Id take a good raod course anyday. Drifting and rallying would be great, but i cant do them too much as cars break with that kind of racing.lol.
