I beleive that all high power Supras here will not pass SMOG. The majority don't even have any cats.

Turn the boost down to stock and use a custom exhaust with 3 catalytic converters spaced evenly, to let the crap burn off longer/better? Big Grin
Bolt it on, pass the test, bolt on your real exhaust when you get home.
I don't know. Hehe

LoL, 3 cats..* Thinking about the idea of having to drive with that exhaust around over to the shop* F*ck That, lol! Big Grin. just trying to get an idea, cause when my ge dies out, and i swap the engine, i just wanna make about 375 with the turbo engine, while being able to pass smog, cause i've been hearing that some cars even get tested on dynos and stuff, makin it a little harder to pass..

You live in California. I wouldn't live there is the first place just for their strict emissions laws. If you can do it, go ahead and run your 375hp, I just think it won't be worth it.

if u have problems passing emmissions do what i did, find a city that doesnt have emmissions test and register the car there and go there to get inspection. u have to register it there because the emmission counties have a solid line under the yr on the reg. sticker and u cant get an out of county inspection sticker, so if u register there through a relatives or friends address u dont have to pass emmissions

Go get a Honda Civic and "rice it". Make it look fast without modifying it; then it can be a drag car AND pass inspection!!!!!!!!

im sure if you spent enough money it could be possible but it really isnt worth it. leaning out your a/f and putting stock exhaust and cats on are about the only things you can do to increase your chance to pass.
