Hey, I was wondering if I even have a chance against a 03 Corvette (stock). My TT has about 420 rwhp, but it is an automatic. I think he may launch a lot faster (he has traction control) and pull away from me from the start, so is there any way to launch hard off the line without having to buy a high stall torque converter (I have brand new Yokohomas on all four corners)? I believe his Vette weighs in at a little less than mine, but i'm just wondering if I have a shot at betting him (my friend).

i wouldnt even sweat a c5. they only make 350bhp which it probably 300whp. so you have a 120whp advantage. i think the c5 weights around 3200 so you give up 200 lbs but you should still take him.
