Anyone in Canada currently runnig the AEM EMS in their MKIV? I would like to meet with anyone in the Toronto area who has one and knows anything about it and wonder how they like it. I'm trying to decide which way to go on my ride (AEM or alphabet soup piggy backs) and I'm leaning towards the AEM because of all the positive feedback from the shops in the US, but the only hesitation is that no shop in Toronto that I am aware of has any knowledge/experience with it. The price alone is enough to say yes to it, but I'm not the techo computer tuner type, but I'm very willing to learn.

Hey,

Talk to Mike Diell at DL Motorsports (phone # 905-319-1952) He is located in Burlington.

He is one of the few people in the TO area that can tune an AEM. I'm getting mine in a few months and he is gonna take care of all the tuning.

Hope this helps

Danny,

Where have you been? Did you go to the last event on Oct 20th?

I've had it since late spring. I installed / tuned it myself. Everything has gone quite well, I haven't run into any major problems. The current software that comes with the unit is quite good.

If you are going to go this route, I'd highly recommend getting a wideband O2 sensor, even if you get someone else to tune it for you.

I know that having the wideband is a must. Where are you located? I wouldn't mind checking it out in your ride if you don't mind (unless your car is stored now, mine is frown)

Ken - I've been out of comission for a while, been very busy at work and not to mention helping out friends who can't seen to keep out of trouble roll eyes

I haven't gone to any events since the supra meet you organized.

Well my car is not quite away yet, but will be shortly. Sure you can come check it out sometime. I think I met you in the spring. Do you have a black Veilside Supra?

no, that's Tim's car (veilside). I have a black 94 TT with 18 in. 5-spoke Dp wheels and no body kit. A pic of it is in the "your supra" thread here.

I was at the supra meet at Dave and Busters back in Aug I think it was. not sure if you were there.
