Hello Supra people, I need your help.
I got a 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo(5 spd).
The clutch on my supra is almost gone. Therefore I want to start to operate this "beast". I've been reading on some of the message board and it looks like if you are going to rebuild & modify a car you start from the Engine and I think i must agree to that. Why have a hyp epaint job while the engine is just a stock engine. I think of heading to a Stage III or IV. The big question is: should I rebuild and customize my recent engine (it has 270,000 km) or drop in a "new" engine????? then where to start buying high performance part for this engine/trany?????

I long rest and thinking what should be done to my supra.
I'm planning to do an engine swap.
I want to drop in a Jdm engine : 1JZGTTE
does any know in Ontario where can I purchase the 1JZGTTE engine? I found a website of this shop: http://www.naganojapanese.com but it in quebec. I check a couple of engine shop in toronto and found one shop with the engine but he was asking for $8,000 (too much money) in Quebec is about $2,000 (good price) but way to far to get the engine (shipping cost too much).

anyone knows a engine shop that, max an hour or so from toronto, have the engine

Check any Jap store that exports engines to Canada. Can always get one trucked up there. Im not familiar with the area so I dunno of any specific shop.
